This recipe uses 

Chilli non Carne


350g No Meat Mince

1 medium onion, chopped

1 red capsicum, chopped

4 cloves crushed garlic

2 tbsp Olive Oil

1 tsp crushed chilli 
(more if you want it hot!)

2 tbsp tomato paste

1 tin peeled tomatoes

1 tin kidney beans

2 tsp dried oregano

1 tsp cumin

1 cup vegetable stock

  1. In a pan, fry the Mince in the olive oil on medium heat. Add the onion, capsicum, chilli and garlic and cook until brown (4-5 minutes),

  2. Stir through tomatoes, tomato paste and vegetable stock and simmer for 20 minutes.

  3. Add the beans, oregano and cumin. Season with salt & pepper and simmer for 5 minutes.

Serve with a generous helping of grated vegan cheese and/or sour cream.
